The VE8 Pro Carbon features a tapered fit at the waist, along with multi-section flex blocks for optimal mobility. A shaped lower shell that is wider at the hips, paired with extra wide stretch sections in key areas, give the VE8 Pro Carbon SR goalie pant a flexible fit without sacrificing coverage.

For elevated protection on the VE8 Pro Carbon pant, Vaughn has updated the use of familiar materials . The thigh portion of the VE8 Pro Carbon utilizes large HD foam guards for lightweight protection. Throughout the entirety of the pant, Carbon fiber is used, which allows for lightweight protection. On the back of the VE8, Vaughn has added a new larger tailbone and lower back pad comprised of HD foam , which improves the overall fit and protection of the pant.
